About the Role
You will assemble, integrate, test, troubleshoot, and maintain UAV propulsion systems. You will perform flight inspections, operate engine test cells, resolve mechanical and electrical issues, coordinate with engineers and flight-test teams, document maintenance, and follow safety procedures.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of aircraft engine experience
- Experience at an aerospace company or military aviation unit
- Troubleshooting expertise for gas turbine, reciprocating, or hybrid propulsion systems
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering documents
- U.S. Citizenship or ability to comply with ITAR requirements
Responsibilities
- Conduct engine assembly, disassembly, and integration
- Perform pre-flight and post-flight propulsion inspections
- Operate test cells for engine validation, tuning, and troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve propulsion system issues
- Coordinate with engineers and flight-test teams
- Maintain maintenance, inspection, and modification records
- Follow safety protocols and operating procedures
