About the Role
You will design and release hardware for engine, fuel, oil, and bleed-air systems. You will create CAD models and drawings, support manufacturing and testing, resolve build issues, perform analysis, manage configurations, and participate in design reviews and root-cause investigations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- 5+ years of aerospace hardware design experience
- CAD modeling and drawing proficiency
- GD&T expertise
- Experience working with production, technicians, and machine shops
- Knowledge of design for manufacturing, machining limitations, tolerance stack-ups, and assembly workflows
- Hands-on hardware build and test integration experience
- U.S. Citizenship or ability to comply with ITAR requirements
Responsibilities
- Design and release propulsion hardware
- Develop CAD models, drawings, and assemblies using Siemens NX and GD&T
- Translate propulsion requirements into manufacturable and testable hardware
- Support machine shops, production, and technicians during builds
- Support test campaigns and iterate hardware based on findings
- Perform engineering analysis to support sizing, load cases, and design validation
- Manage configurations, BOMs, and changes
- Participate in design reviews, interface control, and root-cause investigations
