Senior Project Manager, Delivery

About the Role

You will define client solution needs, translate requirements into executable delivery plans, and lead end-to-end implementations for complex enterprise engagements. You will manage multi-workstream programs, coordinate dependencies across Engineering, Product, Integration, vendors, and client teams, and drive risk management and program governance. You will plan go-lives, coordinate testing and operational readiness, and ensure smooth handover to long-term operations while providing clear executive reporting to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7–12 years of experience in enterprise delivery leadership, program management, or project management within banking, financial services, fintech, or technology infrastructure
  • Proven leadership in building and managing high-performing teams and stakeholder management
  • Proven success delivering large-scale, complex, multi-system solutions in regulated environments
  • Experience across banking, custody, payments, or capital markets
  • Leadership of cross-functional teams spanning Engineering, Product, Integration, and external partners
  • Deep understanding of delivery governance, dependency management, risk control, and operational readiness
  • Strong familiarity with cloud, hybrid deployments, DevOps, and CI/CD-driven execution
  • Familiarity with agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery models
  • Exceptional communication, organization, stakeholder management, and execution skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work across multiple teams and geographies
  • Languages: Swiss German, German, and English required; French highly preferred for Geneva market; Italian a plus
  • Location: Switzerland, with focus on Zurich and Geneva

Responsibilities

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing delivery team
  • Own end-to-end solution delivery lifecycle for complex client engagements
  • Partner with clients and Commercial teams during pre-sales and deal shaping
  • Translate solution requirements into executable delivery plans
  • Plan and manage multi-workstream delivery programs
  • Establish project governance, reporting frameworks, and execution rhythms
  • Act as senior delivery authority and escalation point for assigned programs
  • Validate feasibility and execution approach with Architecture, Integration, Product, and Engineering
  • Lead resource allocation, vendor coordination, and dependency management
  • Track progress against milestones, budgets, and delivery commitments
  • Identify deviations early and implement corrective actions
  • Drive operational readiness and transition to run, including testing and go-live planning
  • Ensure solutions meet contractual, regulatory, and operational commitments
  • Provide executive-level reporting to internal leadership and client stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, frameworks, and tooling
