About the Role
You will build and maintain financial models, analyze performance against plan, develop forecasts and EAC updates, prepare business reviews, and identify financial risks and opportunities. You will create KPI reporting, support close processes, monitor inventory costs, and improve financial reporting through automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or FP&A
- Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis proficiency
- Understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles in government contracting or manufacturing
- Familiarity with cost accounting and government contract structures including T&M, CPFF, and FFP
- Working knowledge of Power BI and data visualization
- Understanding of financial statements and business metrics
- Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
- Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning
- Analyze trends and provide actionable business recommendations
- Support program health, spend trends, and headcount planning
- Develop KPI reporting and dashboards using Power BI and Excel
- Participate in month-end and quarter-end close, variance analysis, and executive reporting
- Support financial planning cycles, business reviews, and investment decisions
- Support data transformation and modeling initiatives
- Identify automation and efficiency opportunities in financial reporting and analysis
- Monitor inventory movement, usage, and cost trends
- Monitor actuals against plan and support EAC updates
- Conduct operational reviews and ad hoc analysis
