About the Role
You will own the vision and roadmap for Universal KYC and MetaMask Passport, defining how a reusable identity layer unlocks the broader MetaMask product stack. You'll build the underlying identity platform, creating scalable verification primitives and standards that can be adopted across products. You will design a seamless, low-friction KYC experience that reduces time-to-first-transaction while maintaining compliance integrity. You'll drive adoption across MetaMask by partnering closely with internal teams to integrate a consistent identity layer, while balancing privacy, trust, and global regulatory requirements. You will lead execution end-to-end, aligning cross-functional teams and delivering measurable outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven experience building or scaling identity verification (IDV), KYC, or onboarding products
- Strong background in fintech, ideally with exposure to Web3
- Hands-on experience working with identity verification providers (IDV vendors) such as Sumsub, Veriff, Onfido, Persona, or Stripe Identity
- Familiarity with compliance workflows, including KYC, KYB, and customer due diligence (CDD) processes
- Track record of delivering platform products adopted across multiple teams
- Ability to operate across both technical systems and user experience
