About the Role
You'll own meaningful product areas end-to-end, from discovery to delivery, working directly with founders, engineers, and designers to build financial products that millions of people depend on. You'll be given real ownership from day one and will be expected to set the bar for product quality. You'll dive deep into user data, run customer interviews, and use market insights to uncover unmet needs, while defining and tracking the success metrics that guide your decisions. You'll also lead partnerships with external providers like banks, processors, and data vendors when relevant to your domain, and help shape ARQ's product management processes as the team scales.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, with a track record of shipping impactful products that millions of customers love
- Strong data instincts, defining metrics before building and using them to drive decisions after
- Excellent written and verbal communication, translating complexity into clarity for engineers and executives
- A bias to action and comfort with ambiguity
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities without losing momentum
- Experience in fintech, payments, or a highly regulated consumer product environment (nice to have)
- Experience building or scaling financial products in Latin America (nice to have)
- Spanish or Portuguese language skills (nice to have)
- Experience at a high-growth startup from early to scale stage (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Own the vision, roadmap, and delivery of your product area, from a rough idea to a feature
- Drive product execution with speed alongside a team of engineers, designers, and operators
- Understand users, their behaviors, frustrations, and unmet needs through data, customer interviews, and market insights
- Define and track success metrics to guide prioritization and validate decisions
- Lead partnerships with external providers such as banks, processors, and data vendors
- Contribute to the development of ARQ's product management processes as the team scales AI
