About the Role
You will lead the end-to-end design and delivery of internal operational tools. You will research user workflows, design systems and interfaces, prototype AI-enabled solutions, contribute production code, and iterate after launch. You will translate complex rules, data, approvals, exceptions, and audit needs into reliable experiences.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product design experience in startup or fast-paced environments
- Experience designing and launching products in complex or technical industries
- Ability to read and build with API documentation
- Ability to translate complex processes, data, business rules, and edge cases into efficient experiences
- Understanding of auditability and regulatory concerns
- Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments
- Ability to communicate design decisions across product, engineering, operations, and business teams
Responsibilities
- Lead design projects from research and workflow discovery through launch and iteration
- Design operational workflows involving multiple roles, data sources, rules, approvals, exceptions, and audits
- Build AI-powered prototypes
- Contribute code to production experiences through review, testing, deployment, and iteration
- Conduct interviews, observation, workflow analysis, and usability testing with operations users
- Design data-rich interfaces for monitoring, investigation, exception management, and decision-making
- Contribute scalable patterns to the design system
- Manage multiple initiatives and communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions
