About the Role
You will define and drive the technical strategy for the entire Applications Portfolio, spanning Web, Mobile, and Headless surfaces. You will set frontend architecture standards, mentor and coach senior engineering talent, and collaborate deeply with Product leadership to align engineering strategy with customer needs. You will spearhead the evolution from a feature factory model to a platform-driven system, modernizing API layers and integrating emerging standards like the Model Context Protocol to enable agentic workflows. You will partner with Design Systems teams on shared UI components and design tokens, reduce systemic technical risks, and raise the bar through hands-on technical reviews and prototyping.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience as a senior/principal-level software engineer with deep expertise in frontend architecture and large-scale application systems
- Proven success leading technology transformation across organizations of 80+ engineers
- Deep understanding of modern API design (REST, GraphQL) in highly distributed agentic environments
- Demonstrated experience with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar agent-integration patterns
- Strong product mindset with proven history of collaborating with Product leaders
- Ability to balance high-level architectural strategy with hands-on production-level coding
- Extensive experience evaluating and adopting new frontend technologies and frameworks
- Proven track record designing and scaling robust frontend architectures for high-traffic complex user interfaces across massive datasets
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to drive consensus across distributed teams
