Senior Onboarding and Risk Management Analyst

About the Role

You will lead the onboarding and risk management program and execute CIP, CDD, and EDD processes. You will implement KYB/KYC client onboarding and KYC refreshes, conduct high-risk customer and client reviews, and perform platform audits. You will review consumer-facing disclosures, marketing, and advertising for consistency with standards and collaborate with engineering on integrations and incident response.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in technical client-facing support engineering, solutions engineering, or software development
  • Practical experience conducting customer due diligence and risk management functions within an AML/CFT program
  • Knowledge of KYB and KYC processes
  • Experience with CIP, CDD, and EDD
  • Strong understanding of REST API, SDK, WebSocket, and webhook integration
  • Ability to write SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Javascript/Typescript, Golang, or Rust
  • Experience with logging, documentation, ticket tracking, and SLA monitoring tools
  • Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in a B2B2C fintech or SaaS context (preferred)
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of blockchain, crypto, and web3 technologies (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead onboarding and risk management program
  • Execute CIP, CDD, and EDD processes
  • Implement KYB and KYC client onboarding and KYC refreshes
  • Conduct high-risk customer and client reviews
  • Perform platform audits
  • Review consumer-facing disclosures, marketing, and advertising for compliance with standards
  • Deep-dive into complex code and client integrations to identify bugs, performance bottlenecks, and configuration issues
  • Collaborate with engineering to escalate and prioritize bugs, product gaps, and client feedback
  • Build internal tools, scripts, and dashboards to improve support efficiency and monitor API health
  • Create alerts, monitors, and runbooks
  • Provide incident support for enterprise partners
