About the Role

You will create and improve electromechanical machinery for robotic cells. You will produce manufacturing documentation, validate mechanical components, develop tools and equipment, support fabrication and commissioning, document prototype tests, and guide colleagues on parts, mechanisms, weldments, and industrial structures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of hands-on mechanical engineering or design experience
• Robotics-industry or relevant experience
• Knowledge of SolidWorks
• Experience with design and drafting standards
• Understanding of turning, milling, and welding processes
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Design components of electromechanical machinery and systems
• Provide technical support for project production and implementation
• Prepare and review manufacturing drawings and documentation
• Develop and modify tools and equipment for robotic cells
• Retrieve customer data and coordinate with suppliers
• Validate critical mechanical components
• Support equipment commissioning, fabrication, and assembly
• Develop installation, maintenance, and operations manuals
• Guide colleagues in designing parts, mechanisms, weldments, and structures
• Document prototype test procedures
• Support documentation and product lifecycle management tasks
• Align design intent across electrical, controls, robotics, and vision disciplines
• Coach less experienced team members
