About the Role
You will lead complex market-abuse investigations, prepare regulator-ready findings, calibrate surveillance models and thresholds, support platform integrations, assess market-abuse risk, and use AI tools responsibly for investigative work. You will also support conflicts, information-barrier, and personal-account-dealing matters.
Requirements
- Experience investigating market abuse or trading conduct in a regulated trading business
- Experience leading end-to-end investigations
- Knowledge of market-abuse typologies including spoofing, wash trading, insider trading, front running, and ramping
- Knowledge of threshold calibration, model calibration, surveillance platform integration, risk assessment, and audit remediation
- Experience using generative AI or automation tools with human oversight
- Experience with a surveillance platform such as Scila, Nasdaq SMARTS, Eventus, or NICE Actimize
- SQL or similar query-tool knowledge
- Evidence-based written communication
Responsibilities
- Lead complex market-abuse investigations from start to finish
- Prepare regulator-ready findings and present conclusions
- Review and recalibrate surveillance rules and alert thresholds
- Support surveillance platform integrations for products, venues, and data sources
- Conduct market-abuse risk assessments
- Use AI and automation for evidence gathering and detection-model development
- Support conflicts of interest, information barrier, and personal account dealing matters
