About the Role

You will develop carbon-free energy strategy, source and manage clean-energy transactions, and evaluate emerging clean-energy technologies. You will lead water and operational-emissions strategy, engage key stakeholders, and manage the growing energy and environmental function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, energy, environmental science, business, finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years in sustainability, energy procurement, renewable project development, or energy markets
  • Experience negotiating or structuring PPAs, VPPAs, utility tariffs, or RECs
  • Knowledge of United States power markets, utility regulation, transmission, interconnection, and REC markets
  • Experience with financial modeling for energy transactions and risk assessment
  • Experience managing people or leading cross-functional programmes with executive stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Own the carbon-free energy strategy and portfolio roadmap
  • Originate, structure, negotiate, and close clean-energy transactions
  • Build financial models and assess energy-deal risks
  • Conduct energy due diligence during site selection
  • Manage the contracted carbon-free energy portfolio
  • Evaluate emerging firm and dispatchable clean-energy sources
  • Develop grid-interactivity and demand-flexibility options
  • Track United States energy policy and market rules
  • Lead water stewardship strategy
  • Lead operational-emissions inventory and reduction plans
  • Manage and develop the energy and environmental team
