About the Role

You will define and advance BIM and VDC standards for data center projects. You will lead multi-discipline coordination, model reviews, clash detection, constructability analysis, vendor evaluation, project BIM administration, and the development of an internal BIM/VDC team and technology roadmap.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive BIM/VDC experience
  • Experience leading BIM/VDC coordination on large-scale mission-critical construction projects
  • Experience as a BIM/VDC technical owner or discipline lead on large capital projects
  • Experience managing or mentoring BIM staff, consultants, or trade coordination teams
  • Deep knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360, and Civil 3D
  • Knowledge of clash detection, model federation, multi-discipline coordination, LOD frameworks, BIM Execution Planning, and ISO 19650
  • Experience with 4D scheduling and model-based quantity takeoff and estimating
  • Familiarity with LiDAR scanning, photogrammetry, drone survey, scan-to-BIM, DCIM, and digital twins
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own BIM standards, BIM Execution Plan templates, LOD matrices, and modeling specifications
  • Establish model authoring, federation, and file-structure standards
  • Define clash-detection and coordination workflows
  • Improve model-based quantity takeoff, 4D scheduling, and estimating
  • Lead BIM/VDC software evaluation and standardization
  • Review BIM Execution Plans and federated models from external partners
  • Oversee federated models, clash reports, and coordination logs
  • Lead BIM-driven value engineering and constructability reviews
  • Build, mentor, and lead an internal BIM/VDC team
  • Develop digital twin and reality-capture technology roadmaps
