About the Role
You will provide technical execution support for chemical synthesis, slurry mixing, and lab analysis operations. You will assemble, disassemble, and mechanically tune custom lab test systems, ensuring they are calibrated and leak-checked. You will track inventory of consumables, chemicals, gas cylinders, and spare parts, execute preventive maintenance on engineering equipment and facility support systems, maintain hazardous waste and maintenance logs, diagnose and repair mechanical and fluid systems, and help refine lab operations SOPs.
Requirements
- 8–15+ years of experience as a lab technician, engineering technician, or similar; or 4-10+ years of experience with a degree in science or engineering
- Ability to interpret complex P&IDs, control loop diagrams, and electrical schematics
- Experience with process piping, high-pressure fluid systems, and industrial instrumentation
- Experience with setting up, maintaining, and using analytical lab equipment
- Forklift, crane, or material-handling experience is a plus
- Electrical or other workplace certifications are a strong plus
- Experience in startups or small engineering teams is a strong plus
Responsibilities

- Track and catalogue process consumables, spare parts, chemicals, gas cylinders, and critical hardware
- Execute the preventive maintenance schedule for engineering equipment, test stands, and facility support systems
- Maintain hazardous waste and maintenance logs, equipment status boards, and operational checklists
- Diagnose and lead upgrades and repairs on mechanical, fluid, and control systems
- Support the development and refinement of Lab Operations SOPs
