About the Role
Provide technical execution support for chemical synthesis, slurry mixing, lab analysis, custom test systems, equipment maintenance, inventories, hazardous waste logs, mechanical and fluid-system repairs, and Lab Operations SOPs.
Requirements
- 8–15+ years of experience as a lab technician, engineering technician, or similar, or 4–10+ years with a science or engineering degree.
- Ability to interpret complex P&IDs, control loop diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Experience with process piping, high-pressure fluid systems, and industrial instrumentation.
- Experience setting up, maintaining, and using analytical lab equipment.
- Forklift, crane, or material-handling experience is a plus.
- Electrical or other workplace certifications are a strong plus.
- Startup or small engineering team experience is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for chemical synthesis, slurry mixing, and lab analysis operations.
- Assemble, disassemble, mechanically tune, calibrate, and leak-check custom lab test systems.
- Track and catalogue consumables, chemicals, gas cylinders, spare parts, and critical hardware.
- Execute preventive maintenance for engineering equipment, test stands, and facility systems.
- Maintain hazardous waste and maintenance logs, equipment status boards, and operational checklists.
- Diagnose and lead upgrades and repairs on mechanical, fluid, and control systems.
- Support development and refinement of Lab Operations SOPs.
