About the Role

You will translate product guidance into use cases, functional requirements, architectures, and designs. You will create systems-engineering artifacts, qualify work products with data, help unblock multidisciplinary delivery, and support quality hardware development throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience, or equivalent advanced-degree and related experience totaling 8 years
• Experience designing, implementing, and testing complex hardware and software systems
• Experience with systems engineering analysis methods and artifacts, including activity diagrams, functional decompositions, FMEAs, and test plans
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience developing safety, security, and other quality attributes in system design

Responsibilities

• Decompose product guidance into use cases and functional requirements
• Define architectures and requirements sets for assigned system-level hardware areas
• Transform product guidance into design throughout the product development lifecycle
• Author and maintain systems engineering artifacts
• Unblock multidisciplinary teams to support quality hardware delivery
• Use data and engineering experience to qualify work products and develop compatible designs
• Foster collaboration and learning across groups
