About the Role

You will own the architecture for quote, pricing, trade initiation, and settlement-tracking flows. You will design state and data-fetching patterns, improve performance and reliability, extend the APIs and data models supporting your features, and instrument client experience metrics. You will mentor engineers, maintain engineering-excellence work, participate in on-call, and deliver durable fixes after incidents.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of production web application experience with frontend depth
  • Trading, exchange, or brokerage experience on a live trade or order path

Responsibilities

  • Own architecture for quote, pricing, trade initiation, and settlement-tracking flows
  • Design frontend state, data-fetching, exception-handling, and retry patterns
  • Improve frontend performance and reliability
  • Build APIs and data models supporting client surfaces
  • Instrument error rates, flow completion, and latency
  • Partner with design, product, and backend engineers on flows and API contracts
  • Drive work from technical design through adoption
  • Mentor L1 and L2 engineers
  • Maintain and resolve engineering-excellence and technical-debt work
  • Participate in on-call and turn post-mortems into durable fixes
