About the Role
Design and implement high-performance, scalable user interfaces and frontend systems for Xsolla’s global video game commerce ecosystem. The role involves owning the frontend development lifecycle, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, supporting cloud deployments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React
- Deep proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Strong experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Experience with modern build tools such as Webpack and Vite, plus monorepo setups
- Excellent understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization
- Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI
- Familiarity with Docker and cloud deployment using GCP, AWS, or Firebase
- Ability to mentor and lead other engineers as a senior team member
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features and user interfaces
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across browsers and devices
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications
- Work closely with global cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and project managers
- Partner with stakeholders to align technical strategies with business objectives
- Facilitate effective communication across globally distributed teams
- Oversee the entire development lifecycle, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality applications
