About the Role
You will lead the engineering team building next-generation Materialized View features for the Lakeflow platform. You will recruit, coach, and develop engineers; establish processes that implement product strategy; and deliver high-quality, operable software.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing top-tier engineering teams
- 5+ years building data infrastructure systems such as Apache Spark or database internals
- Knowledge of database systems, storage systems, distributed systems, or performance optimization
- Experience working with product management and customers
- Experience ensuring testing, quality, and Service Level Agreements for infrastructure services
- Experience hiring and coaching engineers and developing teams
