About the Role

You will lead the Crypto Revolution by managing engineers and other leads, helping them grow while building scalable, secure, and high-quality products with users at the center. You will work closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to define strategy, set priorities, and align on roadmaps, always prioritizing security, compliance, user experience, and reliability in a high-volume trading environment. While day-to-day coding won't be expected of you, you'll bring your deep technical and architectural background to provide hands-on guidance and support your teams through complex situations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience managing engineering teams, with at least 2+ years managing managers
• Strong background in trading or investment platforms
• Proven ability to scale engineering teams, optimize delivery processes, and handle high-throughput, mission-critical systems
• Deep technical expertise in software engineering, architecture, and team building
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions, geographies, and remote/distributed teams
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog)
• Experience working with Git and automated CI/CD tools
• Strong ability to coordinate sizeable multidisciplinary product engineering squads
• Ability to motivate teams through practical challenges and foster psychological safety
• Experience building and launching large-scale user-facing products to market
• Comfortable with modern delivery practices, including DevOps principles

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the team health and growth of each of its members
• Identify high performers that need to be nurtured and lower performers that need assistance
• Run performance reviews, assign promotions, and ensure robust succession planning
• Provide leadership and technological guidance to your squad and other managers when uncertain
• Monitor metrics, goals, and missions for people and teams
• Oversee and empower engineering teams, ensuring high productivity, technical excellence, and a strong culture of collaboration
• Delegate execution while maintaining accountability
• Ensure teams have the proper structure, processes, and resources to succeed
• Foster a high-performance engineering culture by driving best practices in software development, security, system design, and risk management
• Contribute to hiring and retaining top engineering talent globally
• Challenge the status quo to maximize customer value, delivering innovative and high-quality software solutions
• Balance feature delivery with technical debt reduction, providing clear visibility and trade-off discussions to stakeholders
• Influence cross-functional partners and contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap for the Engineering organization
