About the Role
Design, build, and maintain backend services and internal tools that power Coinhako's Trading Desk operations. Integrate with exchanges, liquidity providers, trading venues, and internal systems using REST APIs, WebSocket, and FIX. Improve reliability, scalability, latency, and observability while automating manual trading operations and reducing operational risk.
Requirements
- 5-6 years of professional software engineering experience designing and building trading systems.
- Strong background in Python or Go; C++ knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with REST APIs, WebSocket, and FIX connectivity.
- Familiarity with trade lifecycle, financial products, trading venues, risk controls, and execution workflows.
- Experience building order management, execution, market data, risk, reconciliation, or post-trade systems.
- Exposure to low-latency, high-throughput, or high-frequency trading systems is advantageous.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Terraform, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative, action-oriented attitude.
- Experience in cryptocurrency, blockchain, fintech, or financial firms.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and internal tools supporting Trading Desk operations.
- Integrate with exchanges, liquidity providers, trading venues, and internal systems using REST APIs, WebSocket, and FIX.
- Improve the reliability, scalability, latency, and observability of internal trading systems.
- Automate manual trading operations and reduce operational risk through better tooling and system design.
- Participate in development, code review, testing, and debugging throughout the development lifecycle.
