About the Role
You will design and maintain infrastructure as code, automate deployment and scaling of services, and build CI/CD pipelines. You will implement automated testing, establish monitoring and alerting, respond to incidents on-call, enforce security and compliance, optimize system performance, and document infrastructure and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer in a blockchain or crypto environment
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with blockchain technologies such as Ethereum and Cosmos
- Experience with AWS including EKS EC2 RDS and IAM
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and configuration management such as Ansible
- Strong Linux OS and networking fundamentals
- Experience building monitoring systems such as ELK stack Pingdom Opsgenie PagerDuty Kiali Weave Scope CloudWatch and CloudTrail
- Hands on experience operating microservice based SaaS products REST web services and SSO solutions like Okta or Auth0
- Experience with databases and search such as MySQL and Elasticsearch
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
- AWS Solutions Architect certification strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Design implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform Ansible and Kubernetes on GCP and AWS
- Automate deployment scaling and management of blockchain nodes and related services
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for backend and blockchain applications
- Establish and maintain monitoring solutions and application-level alerting
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents promptly
- Implement and enforce security best practices and support security audits
- Analyze system performance and recommend capacity planning and optimizations
- Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations processes and procedures
