About the Role
You will define, build, operate, scale, and maintain the services owned by your team. You will collaborate on technology selection, contribute to design and implementation, mentor engineers, align roadmaps with target architecture, and translate requirements into well-engineered solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience using Python as a primary language.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including SOLID, ACID, and testing.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Django, FastAPI, and Flask.
- Extensive experience integrating with or creating REST APIs.
- Experience working in Scrum and Agile development practices.
- Teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Define, own, and maintain domain services throughout their lifecycle.
- Work with the product team to select technology partners.
- Collaborate with backend engineers on design, refinement, implementation, and mentoring.
- Align the team’s vision and roadmap with the target architecture.
- Translate requirements into well-engineered solutions with product, engineering, data, and business colleagues.
- Contribute to the Community of Practice and promote engineering best practices.
