About the Role
Develop and maintain Java backend microservices for card issuing, authorization, settlement, and clearing. Orchestrate transaction workflows with Temporal, optimize SQL schemas and queries for high-concurrency ledgers, use AI development tools, and deliver promotional, rewards, and card lifecycle features.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of backend engineering experience
- Java and Spring Boot proficiency
- Relational database and SQL proficiency
- Experience or understanding of Temporal or Cadence
- Fintech experience and knowledge of card transaction mechanics
- Experience using AI development tools
- Experience with card issuing processors or payment service providers is a plus
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP is a plus
