About the Role

You will manage PCB design tools, libraries, and design-to-PLM workflows. You will lead component strategy, qualification, lifecycle management, and cost-reduction efforts. You will serve as a primary PCB layout designer, review layouts, migrate legacy designs, and establish standards for reliable production hardware.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in PCB layout design, component engineering, or a related hardware discipline
Expertise in Altium Designer
Experience with component engineering, part qualification, and lifecycle management
Familiarity with PLM systems and design-to-PLM workflows
Understanding of signal integrity, power distribution, and EMC design principles
Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

Administer and optimize Altium Designer licenses
Consolidate schematic and layout libraries into Altium
Maintain an authoritative Altium component library linked to PLM
Develop design-submission processes for PLM
Drive adoption of automotive-grade components
Manage component platform strategy and lifecycle
Qualify alternate components
Serve as the primary PCB layout designer
Review PCB layout designs
Migrate legacy designs into Altium
Define and enforce layout standards
Travel up to 10% as required
