About the Role
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and warehouses that feed product features. Implement ETL solutions, connect to blockchain nodes and third-party sources, model PostgreSQL schemas, lead Solana data ingestion projects, improve automation and operational efficiency, and provide technical guidance to engineers across functions.
Requirements
- Significant knowledge of the crypto industry
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with data modeling, schema design, data operations, and data warehousing
- Experience building backend systems at scale focused on data processing and ingestion
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Go, and/or Python
- Strong expertise in SQL, especially Postgres, dbt, and Hypertables
- Experience creating data warehouses using Timescale, Snowflake, and/or BigQuery
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and AWS
Responsibilities
- Own data sourcing pipelines
- Design and implement ETL solutions
- Model internal schemas in PostgreSQL
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams
- Improve and automate data workflows and operational processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Research, Product, and Engineering
