About the Role
This hands-on role supports audit readiness by managing data inventories, playbooks, catalogs, and access processes; coordinating audit responses; improving governance and change management; and building reusable audit-ready datasets, ETL pipelines, dashboards, and traceable data architecture.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering.
- Experience supporting internal audit, risk, or SOX compliance functions.
- Experience managing and designing data architecture in a regulated environment.
- Experience building production data pipelines.
- Familiarity with dbt.
- Familiarity with Airflow or equivalent orchestration tools.
- Mastery of SQL.
- Python proficiency.
- Experience documenting technical and business requirements.
- Familiarity with metadata, KPI definitions, business rules, data process flows, and data dictionaries.
- Familiarity with job scheduling and ETL troubleshooting.
- Experience partnering with Data Engineering or Data Governance teams.
- Strong communication skills for translating audit, business, and technical requirements.

- Collaborate on technical coordination and stewardship for audit-related datasets and systems.
- Improve governance and coordination around schema and logic changes.
- Assess downstream impacts during change management.
- Develop and maintain reusable audit-ready dataset patterns.
- Implement automated validation and data quality checks.
- Monitor audit-ready datasets.
- Review audit-related processes and datasets.
- Propose reengineering and process improvements.
- Provide technical guidance on audit requests.
- Build ETL pipelines and dashboards.
- Develop audit-ready data architecture.
