About the Role
You will design secure, efficient, and scalable smart contract systems for real-world asset tokenization across blockchain ecosystems. You will own their deployment, security, monitoring, administration, and lifecycle operations. You will build tools and automation that enable non-technical colleagues to safely manage on-chain state, integrate contract systems with web applications and operations, and provide technical leadership for blockchain projects.
Requirements
- Be based in the PT, MT, CT, or ET time zones.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written technical and non-technical communication skills.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Have 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Have 3+ years of blockchain engineering experience, ideally with a DeFi protocol operating on multiple chains.
- Demonstrate strong Solidity competency; Solana exposure is preferred.
- Design systems including tooling, automation, contract lifecycle security, and integrations between contracts, applications, and operational teams.
- Demonstrate results building and scaling a DeFi protocol.
- Have Python and/or TypeScript experience for tooling and automation.
- Demonstrate sound prioritization judgment and an understanding of requirements.
Responsibilities
- Architect smart contract systems for product deployments, DeFi interoperability, bridging solutions, and DeFi protocols.
- Own smart contract security, upgrade safety, administrative controls, and operational guardrails throughout the system lifecycle.
- Build tooling and automated systems for safely viewing, monitoring, and managing contracts.
- Connect smart contract design with web applications, operational workflows, and end-user needs.
- Lead blockchain projects and guide engineering decisions toward scalable, high-impact solutions.
