About the Role

You will write high-quality, well-tested backend code and review the work of others. You will collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn requirements into shipped products and lead execution end-to-end. You will provide technical guidance to peers, drive strategic technical initiatives across engineering pods, and design, build, and maintain large-scale cloud production systems with high availability. You will manage projects from requirements through release and operational monitoring, build systems from the ground up (0→1), and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• Excellent coding skills
• Deep understanding of cloud architectures
• Knowledge of algorithms
• Strong debugging capabilities
• Experience designing building and maintaining large-scale cloud production systems with high availability
• Experience managing projects from requirements through release management and operational monitoring
• Experience building systems from 0 to 1
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Technical lead experience (nice to have)
• Experience with time-series monitoring or observability systems (nice to have)
• Degree in computer science (nice to have)
• Experience with Typescript (nice to have)
• Experience with AWS (nice to have)

Responsibilities
