About the Role
You will build and scale real-time infrastructure for quoting, hedging, and executing tokenized markets across on-chain and traditional venues. You will develop pricing, execution, market data, reconciliation, and PnL systems using Rust and Go, integrate exchanges and data providers, and help maintain reliable, secure, high-throughput production services.
Requirements
- 4+ years of backend software engineering experience
- Strong programming ability in Go or Rust and willingness to work in both
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and system design
- Experience building real-time or latency-sensitive services
- Experience integrating cloud infrastructure preferably AWS third-party services and high-throughput production-critical systems
- Demonstrated interest in Web3 DeFi or trading systems
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving startup environment with high ambiguity and ownership
Responsibilities
- Design and implement low-latency backend systems and APIs for quoting hedging and execution
- Define interfaces and workflows between pricing execution and market data services
- Integrate market data providers exchanges and on-chain venues
- Build reconciliation and data-integrity tooling for positions fills and PnL
- Establish backend engineering standards best practices and security protocols
- Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions
