About the Role
You will collaborate closely with frontend engineers and the product team to design and deliver high-quality, scalable APIs and services for a customer-facing dashboard. You will develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable TypeScript code using NestJS and modern backend tooling, with a strong focus on quality and long-term maintainability. You will design and evolve data models and integrations backed by MongoDB, integrate and maintain third-party services such as Stripe for billing and payments, and implement automated tests to ensure code quality. You will also participate in code reviews, giving and receiving feedback, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in backend development.
Requirements
- Problem-solving and communication skills
- Proven experience owning services in production and designing systems at scale
- Strong understanding of API design and data modeling principles
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with the NestJS framework and MongoDB
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP is a plus
- Experience integrating payment providers or paywalls (e.g., Stripe) is a plus
- Experience with blockchain technology is a plus
