Products include USDY for non-US investors and OUSG for qualified purchasers, supported by regulated custodians and audited smart contracts.

About the Role
You will build and scale secure backend infrastructure, services, APIs, and tooling for onchain and offchain financial products. You will develop systems for token onboarding, investor flows, bridging, custody, and third-party integrations. You will collaborate with smart contract, product, and frontend colleagues to define robust interfaces and deliver high-performance applications. You will also support operations, investor services, and compliance through automation, auditability, and observability tools, while helping establish engineering and security standards.
Requirements
- 4+ years of backend software engineering experience.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Go, or Python.
- Understanding of distributed systems, system design, and API development.
- Experience integrating cloud infrastructure, third-party services, and security- or compliance-sensitive systems.
- Interest in Web3 or DeFi through professional experience or side projects.
- Ability to operate in a fast-moving startup environment with ambiguity and ownership.
- Located in a United States time zone from Pacific Time to Eastern Time.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure backend systems and APIs for onchain protocols and offchain infrastructure.
- Collaborate with smart contract engineers to define interfaces and workflows between backend services and blockchain networks.
- Own integrations with custodians, identity and KYC providers, payments infrastructure, and third-party blockchain tooling.
- Support operations, investor services, and compliance teams with automation, auditability, and observability tools.
- Establish and enforce backend engineering standards, best practices, and security protocols.
- Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
