The platform automatically updates standings as matches conclude, with results stored on-chain on Base to ensure the final table is public and permanent. Users can track live probabilities, AI-driven predictions, and stats for every match, making it accessible to casual football fans and friend groups looking to compete for free.

About the Role
You'll join the Video Production squad, taking ownership of backend services that power video processing and media automation. You'll design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data pipelines using Go and related technologies, while monitoring performance and reliability to keep systems scalable and maintainable. You'll design and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexing for efficient storage and retrieval, and deploy and manage backend systems on AWS, optimizing resources for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. You'll partner closely with front-end engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences, translating business and product goals into reliable technical solutions. You'll test, debug, and review code to ensure functionality, performance, and resilience, implementing unit and integration tests and contributing to shared best practices. You'll also lead by example through code reviews and mentoring, helping build a culture of technical excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend experience, with at least 1 year working in Go in a production environment
- Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities
- Solid understanding of software design principles and API development
- Strong communication in English (French is a plus)
- A mindset focused on quality, pragmatism and delivery
