About the Role
Design, develop, and maintain back-end systems for web and mobile applications, collaborating with front-end engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure, and scalable software.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in back-end development
- Proficiency in Python, Java, Node.js, or Ruby
- Experience with Django, Spring, or Express.js
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
- Experience developing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
- Understanding of web application security practices
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Design and implement server-side architecture and APIs
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Manage and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and security
- Implement best practices in version control, testing, and documentation
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance and reliability
- Mentor and guide junior developers
