About the Role
Build a standalone Android experience for a new finance platform, owning features from concept through launch and partnering across product, design, backend, data, and platform teams in a highly regulated environment.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience developing Android applications.
- Proficiency with Kotlin and Java and strong knowledge of the Android SDK and MVVM architecture.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines and Flow or RxJava, Retrofit, and Room.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with a product-focused mindset.
- Ability to mentor peers, lead complex projects, and influence architecture decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Build intuitive and stable mobile experiences using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android APIs.
- Lead the full lifecycle of product features from ideation and technical design through implementation, testing, and release.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and Data Scientists.
- Champion engineering best practices for code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Mentor junior developers and help elevate team standards and collaboration.
