About the Role
You will analyse, design, develop, and test robust platform features in an agile environment. You will maintain and enhance systems, collaborate with data scientists, business users, project managers, and engineers, recommend improvements, apply engineering best practices, support other engineers, and contribute to hiring activities.
Requirements
- Experience with Smalltalk or software engineering in the life insurance sector
- Hands-on technology experience
- Analytical skills
- Test-driven development experience
- Automated testing framework experience
- Scrum or Agile development methodology experience
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with little supervision
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Master’s degree in engineering, PhD in science, or equivalent experience
- Fluent English
- French or Italian is a plus
