About the Role

You will design, build, deploy, and operate AI-driven systems that automate stages of the vulnerability research lifecycle. You will own backend services, APIs, and data pipelines end to end; develop evaluation frameworks for AI-generated code; lead technical design discussions; resolve production issues; and improve platform performance, reliability, and observability.

Requirements

7+ years of software development experience building and scaling production systems
Strong Go or Python programming skills
Experience building and operating AI-powered production systems
Experience with multi-step agentic workflows, tool-use integration, prompt engineering, systematic evaluation, and reliability engineering for non-deterministic outputs
Deep understanding of APIs, system design, and cloud infrastructure
Experience with data pipelines, ETL systems, or high-volume data processing with the Blueberry framework
Ability to lead projects independently and make architecture decisions
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to obtain authorization for access to export-controlled technology if required

Responsibilities

Architect and develop AI systems that automate vulnerability analysis, patch diffing, proof-of-concept discovery and generation, exploit validation, and signature creation
Build evaluation and validation frameworks for the correctness, reliability, and safety of AI-generated exploit code
Design and build scalable backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines
Own services from architecture and development through deployment and operation
Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions
Debug complex production issues and implement scalable solutions
Improve platform performance, reliability, and observability
