About the Role
Own the technical vision and execution for Squad’s AI products, including candidate-job recommendation systems, recruiter and operations agents, model fine-tuning, and evaluation and simulation environments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience shipping full-stack AI or LLM features in production
- Proficiency with LLM APIs, embeddings, vector databases, and fine-tuning
- Experience in a high-intensity, high-velocity environment
- High ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and bias toward shipping
Responsibilities
- Build recommendation systems that predict candidate-job fit
- Design AI agents that automate recruiter and operations workflows
- Fine-tune models on proprietary hiring data
- Create evaluation and simulation environments to improve match quality
- Define matching, automation, and infrastructure initiatives
