About the Role
You will design and deploy scalable training pipelines and transfer control policies from simulation to robot hardware. You will integrate learned policies with perception, planning, and actuation, analyze real-world performance, benchmark algorithms, and advance reinforcement- and imitation-learning research.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in robotics, computer science, engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years applying reinforcement learning or imitation learning in physical systems
- Knowledge of PPO and SAC
- Proficiency in Python or C++, PyTorch, ONNX, and reinforcement-learning frameworks
- Experience with physics-based simulators for policy training
- Understanding of control theory, motion planning, and robot kinematics and dynamics
- Experience with sim-to-real transfer and deployment of learning-based policies on physical robots
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and deploy scalable end-to-end training pipelines
- Transfer control policies from simulation to robotic hardware
- Integrate learned policies with perception, planning, and actuation
- Analyze robot behavior and learning performance
- Evaluate and benchmark algorithms
- Stay current with reinforcement-learning and imitation-learning research
- Work autonomously on evolving tasks
