About the Role
You will develop, test, and refine imitation-learning algorithms that produce robot actions from demonstrations and sensor data. You will construct and scale datasets, deploy optimized robot software, collaborate on learning methods, mentor software engineers, guide product decisions, and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Robotics, Machine Learning, or a relevant field
- At least three years of industry or research experience
- Deep learning, supervised learning, self-supervised learning, imitation learning, and generative AI knowledge
- Diffusion model and diffusion policy knowledge
- Robotics autonomy and manipulation background
- Experience deploying artificial neural networks on hardware platforms
- Production-level modern C++ programming ability
- Python prototyping and deep neural network training ability
Responsibilities
- Develop imitation-learning algorithms for robot actions from demonstrations and sensor data
- Design, test, and refine algorithms for autonomy and manipulation tasks
- Construct datasets from human demonstrations and automated expert algorithms
- Streamline dataset expansion for new tasks
- Collaborate on methods using simulated and real-world data
- Implement deployment-ready code optimized for robot computational constraints
- Build, lead, and mentor software engineers
- Provide technical guidance for strategic decision-making
- Create and maintain documentation, guidelines, and best practices
