About the Role
You will own assigned general ledger and close areas, prepare journal entries and adjustments, reconcile balance-sheet accounts, and analyze financial variances. You will streamline recurring work with automation, strengthen controls and accounting processes, and partner with FP&A and cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Knowledge of United States GAAP and accrual accounting
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close ownership
- Proficiency with NetSuite
- Experience using AI and automation for accounting workflows
- Ability to build cross-functional partnerships and explain financial fluctuations
Responsibilities
- Own assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual close areas
- Prepare journal entries and adjustments with supporting documentation
- Perform balance-sheet reconciliations and resolve outstanding items
- Analyze financial results and explain variance drivers
- Use AI-enabled tools and automation to streamline analysis, reconciliations, and workflows
- Strengthen accounting controls and processes
- Drive scalable improvements with FP&A, Accounts Payable, Legal, and other stakeholders
