About Hypernative
Hypernative monitors blockchain activity to detect and block threats through real-time analysis. The platform identifies over 200 risk types including contract exploits, frontend compromises, and private key theft. With automated protective actions including pausing contracts and moving funds, Hypernative helps protocols, asset managers, and exchanges maintain operations during attack attempts while safeguarding digital assets.

About the Role
Investigate emerging blockchain threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors across smart contracts, protocols, economic systems, and off-chain infrastructure. Analyze real-world attacks and convert research findings into detection and prevention capabilities. Develop security tools, heuristics, rule sets, models, and research-driven logic for real-time threat detection and mitigation. Identify Web3 security vulnerabilities and shape security products for high security and efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on security research experience with the ability to find, understand, and explain complex vulnerabilities.
- Multi-year experience building systems with Python, object-oriented programming, and SOLID principles, including production-grade code contributions.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine.
- Smart contract development experience.
- Familiarity with smart contract vulnerabilities and blockchain security concepts.
- Knowledge of trading and finance concepts.
- Cloud development experience with AWS infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Develop heuristics, rule sets, models, and research-driven logic for the real-time threat detection engine.
- Research blockchain protocols, smart contracts, bridges, and DeFi mechanisms to uncover threat patterns and exploitation techniques.
- Analyze real-world Web3 exploits and adversarial behavior to identify detection and prevention opportunities.
- Develop tools and contribute to systems that detect and mitigate security risks in real time.
- Identify and analyze Web3 security vulnerabilities.
- Define and shape Web3 security products.
