About the Role

You will monitor, investigate, triage, and respond to security incidents in a shift-based security operations environment. You will coordinate remediation and escalation, follow incident playbooks, analyze alerts, and improve SIEM detections and incident-response playbooks.

Requirements

  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Incident response experience, including triage, classification, investigation, and escalation.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and investigation tools, including packet capture and Wireshark.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Linux, SQL, and F5.
  • Knowledge of SIEM tools, including Splunk and Sentinel.
  • Knowledge of EDR tools, including Defender and CrowdStrike.
  • Knowledge of security concepts, including MITRE and the Kill Chain.
  • Willingness to work shift patterns.

Responsibilities

  • Detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents.
  • Follow escalation procedures and coordinate incident resolution.
  • Review potential security incidents during 24/7 shift rotations.
  • Coordinate remediation actions with IT and infrastructure teams.
  • Triage and analyze alerts from internal systems.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and incident playbooks.
  • Enhance SIEM detections and playbooks.
