About the Role
You will drive the security of an intelligent blockchain platform. You will lead security design decisions, perform threat modeling and risk assessments, strengthen network defenses, consult developers on secure architecture and cryptography, research emerging security concepts, and proactively find and remediate vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on network security, threat modeling, or risk assessments
- Experience with blockchain technology, decentralized systems, or AI-driven platforms is desirable
- Proven track record consulting on security architecture and cryptography
- Strong understanding of network security principles, protocols, and tools
- Expertise in threat modeling methodologies such as STRIDE and DREAD
- Familiarity with risk assessment frameworks such as NIST SP 800-30
- Proficiency in cryptography including elliptic curve cryptography and homomorphic encryption
- Familiarity with secure software development practices and vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., YARA) and penetration testing tools
- Knowledge of blockchain protocols and smart contract security is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
- Strong communication skills to translate complex security concepts into actionable recommendations
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent professional experience; certifications (CISSP, CEH, OSCP) are a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead security design decisions and provide risk mitigation recommendations
- Enhance network security posture and implement procedures for decentralized systems
- Conduct threat modeling sessions and perform comprehensive risk assessments
- Advise developers on security architecture, cryptography, and secure implementation
- Research emerging security concepts and translate findings into actionable designs
- Identify and remediate internal vulnerabilities in products, infrastructure, and processes
