About the Role
You will develop detection content across SIEM and EDR tools, investigate and respond to incidents, and turn findings into preventive controls and automation. You will remediate production vulnerabilities, review architectures and code, and build Python or Go tooling for security operations. You will partner across engineering, operations, IT, and legal to implement practical security improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of security engineering experience or equivalent formal security training and engineering experience
- Experience working across security domains
- Hands-on Linux experience
- Ability to develop production-grade tooling in Python, Go, or a similar language
- Experience collaborating with technical teams
- Ability to work in high-ambiguity startup environments
Responsibilities
- Develop and tune SIEM and EDR detections
- Investigate and respond to security incidents
- Turn incident findings into automation, playbooks, and controls
- Remediate production vulnerabilities and security findings
- Review architectures and code for security risks
- Build Python or Go security tooling
- Partner with engineering, operations, IT, and legal on security improvements
