About the Role
You will partner with engineers to build secure application features and infrastructure. You will design fraud detection and remediation systems, harden AWS and Python infrastructure, manage vulnerabilities, secure AI systems, oversee compliance operations, and handle security escalations.
Requirements
- Software engineering background
- Hands-on Python and AWS experience
- Experience securing cloud infrastructure and applications
- Experience with vulnerability management, network security, IAM, and secrets management
- Familiarity with GRC frameworks and compliance programs such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001
- Communication skills for security, compliance, and architecture stakeholders
- Experience with modern security tooling is a plus
Responsibilities
- Build secure application features and infrastructure components
- Review architectures and write security-focused code
- Design and implement automated fraud detection systems
- Build monitoring and rapid-response remediation workflows
- Harden AWS and Python infrastructure
- Run vulnerability-management, network-security, and remediation programs
- Secure AI and agentic systems
- Oversee SOC 2 compliance operations and audit cycles
- Evaluate future compliance certifications
- Provide oversight for platform abuse and content moderation
- Serve as the escalation point for IT security incidents
