About the Role
You will improve search quality through model, data, and evaluation experiments. You will implement retrieval, ranking, and classification components, train and evaluate models, deploy and monitor search models, and iterate on RAG pipelines during an in-person Belgrade internship.
Requirements
- Machine learning and statistics foundation
- Coursework or projects in information retrieval, ranking, or recommender systems
- Python experience
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
- Rust experience is a plus
- Enrollment at a Serbian university or self-taught software engineering experience
- English proficiency
Responsibilities
- Contribute to experiments that improve search quality
- Design and implement retrieval, ranking, and classification components
- Train and evaluate models for retrieval, ranking, and classification
- Support deployment and monitoring of search and ranking models
- Build and iterate on RAG pipelines
- Collaborate with Data, AI, Infrastructure, and Product teams
