About the Role

You will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for large-scale backend services and game server systems. You will collaborate with developers and product stakeholders to define test strategies, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, perform code reviews for testability, and investigate performance and security issues. You will monitor test coverage and defect metrics and drive adoption of tools that improve reliability and observability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience as an SDET working with scalable backend services written in Go and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Strong programming skills in Go and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
  • Familiarity with observability frameworks such as OpenTelemetry and tools like Datadog and NewRelic
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment

Responsibilities

  • Design automated test frameworks and test suites
  • Develop and maintain test automation for backend services
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to provide testing solutions
  • Implement software testing best practices including CI/CD integration
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure testability and code quality
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities
  • Drive adoption of new testing tools and technologies
  • Monitor and report on test coverage, defect metrics, and overall quality
