About the Role
You will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites for large-scale backend services and game server systems. You will collaborate with developers and product stakeholders to define test strategies, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, perform code reviews for testability, and investigate performance and security issues. You will monitor test coverage and defect metrics and drive adoption of tools that improve reliability and observability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as an SDET working with scalable backend services written in Go and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong programming skills in Go and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
- Familiarity with observability frameworks such as OpenTelemetry and tools like Datadog and NewRelic
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment

- Design automated test frameworks and test suites

- Implement software testing best practices including CI/CD integration
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure testability and code quality
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities
- Drive adoption of new testing tools and technologies
- Monitor and report on test coverage, defect metrics, and overall quality
