You will shape roadmaps, define specifications and acceptance criteria, support lab integrations, design closed-loop optimization campaigns, and validate platform-driven experiments against practical laboratory constraints.

Requirements

  • PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, a related experimental discipline, or equivalent scientific research experience
  • Experience with high-throughput or automated experimentation
  • Experience translating scientific or process needs into requirements for engineers, software teams, or automation vendors
  • Knowledge of experimental-data metadata, provenance, data quality, and machine-learning usability
  • Expertise in at least one materials domain
  • Python data-handling and analysis knowledge
  • Knowledge of APIs and data schemas
  • Experience collaborating with external partner labs and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

  • Shape and prioritize roadmaps for experimental data, protocols, and campaigns
  • Write product requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria
  • Lead technical discovery with partner labs
  • Own partner-lab onboarding through the first closed-loop campaign
  • Document reusable onboarding patterns
  • Represent the product in partner meetings, workshops, and conferences
