About the Role

You will develop, fine-tune, and evaluate Vision-Language-Action models and multimodal robot-control policies. You will integrate and validate control pipelines on physical production hardware, collect robot data, optimize edge performance, and travel to deployment sites in China to support factory-floor rollouts.

Requirements

2–4 years of professional or applied experience in robotics software, computer vision, or machine learning for robot control, or equivalent project experience
Working understanding of Vision-Language-Action models, multimodal transformers, or learning-based manipulation
Proficiency in Python and/or C++, ROS/ROS2, Linux, Docker, Git, and PyTorch
Understanding of kinematics, dynamics, control, and motion planning
Experience working with physical robots, sensor integration, and control loops
Professional working proficiency in English
Availability to work primarily on-site at the Munich headquarters

Responsibilities

Implement, fine-tune, and evaluate Vision-Language-Action models and multimodal policies for robotic manipulation
Deploy and validate robotic control pipelines on physical production hardware
Integrate vision, force and torque, and language-model outputs into robot control frameworks
Run data-collection campaigns and build data pipelines for model training
Test and tune model performance on edge hardware
Travel to deployment sites in China to deploy solutions and gather operational feedback
